H Silent Circle has officially announced that pre-orders for the first smartphone which takes care of the privacy and security of the owner began. It's called Blackphone, and was announced for the first time this year. Blackphone applications come with a one-year subscription, which will cost $ 10 a month… The device is unlocked and can be used on any compatible network.
The Blackphone smartphone is supported by some great names and is the intellectual security specialist, such as Phil Zimmermann, the creator of the PGP encryption tool.
The whole thing is definitely an interesting idea, but it is somewhat difficult to believe that there are many who are willing to pay 630 dollars only for the device and 120 dollars a year for security applications. And of course, it's important to mention that in order to use this device, people who communicate should use it, or they should use Silent Circle apps for Android or iOS.
