The official account Twitter and the webσελίδα of the British National Party (BNP), a far-right political party from United Kingdom, were hacked by a hacker who appears to belong to Anonymous.
The hackers posted several anti-government messages, sending offensive tweets to members of the British Parliament and other users. The BNP opposes immigration, but the hacker changed their profile description to: "BNP, the pro-immigration party."
When asked about his motives, the attacker said that the Twitter account of the BPP was a random goal, and that he later offered the violated account to another user.
He explained that he is not from the United Kingdom. It is uncertain at this point if BNP has managed to recover the Twitter account.
In addition to hacking the Twitter account, the hacker also defaced a subdomain on the political party's official website. At the time of writing, the subdomain communications.bnp.org.uk displays an image of a man wearing a Guy Fawkes mask sitting in front of a computer. It message not so pleasant for the government.
