An unknown hacker (or a group) has uploaded a full database of the known web TV service Boxee.tv from 10 March of 2014. He really could not find a worse time for them, as the service has recently announced plans to collaborate with Samsung.

The data leakage contains 158.128 user accounts. Includes 172.234 email addresses from 17.653 e-mail providers / ISPs. Of these, almost 5.500 are high profile e-mail and telecom companies, along with 77.061 gmail accounts.
The database also contains encrypted passwords, dates changepassword information, group IDs, dates of birth, IP addresses, web activitiesσελίδα of the service, as well as the personal messages of each account.
The passwords are salted hashes but are easily cracked according to the sources. As proof of the leak, a stranger user posted this message on the site's forum that includes personal information of security researcher Brian Krebs.
