Let's talk about some well-known brand names. The name of a thing gives some characteristics. But there are certainly features that are impossible to perform. In the world of brands and large businesses, the names of a company should be condensed with something personal but also trustworthy. Or, at least, offer some relative value in relation to other options. Why is Nike (originally known as Blue Ribbon Sports) called Nike? From the name of the goddess who personified the victory. Sounds much better than Blue Ribbon Sports, is not it?
So let's take a look at brand names in some of the biggest technology brands. Really how they got their names.
Samsung
This is a fairly straightforward one. The word Samsung in Korean means "three stars" and was chosen to represent the adjectives is "great, numerous and strong."
At first products Samsung's range included dried fish, vegetables, pasta and fruit, although it apparently later tried to diversify into a wide range of different industries. Today, it is best known for smartphones and other consumer electronics. Over time Samsung has entered the aerospace, insurance and financial industries, among others.

Nokia
Nokia is well known in the electronics market. In 1865, a wood pulping mill was opened at Tammerkoski Rapids in Finland. In 1868, in search of stronger water flow, the company opened another mill a few miles from the town of Nokia on the Nokianvirta River, from which the company took its name in 1871. Clearly, there was no rush to establish the brandname in the late 19th century.

It is one of the largest companies in the world, but it has not always been so.
Steve Jobs, when the company had to submit a name for official purposes, was thinking something like Matrix Electronics. However, Jobs says: "Partly because I like apples very much but also because Apple as a name precedes Atari in the phone book."
Clearly, his plan worked well - Apple is now a global superpower, while Atari has lost the game for quite some time. The name Atari comes from Japan meaning I hit the target.
LG
Like many other companies, LG Electronics did not start operating under its current name. In 1958, GoldStar was founded in the aftermath of the Korean War, with the mission of building electronic devices.
GoldStar's sister company was Lak-Hui (pronounced "Lucky"), hence the name "Lucky Goldstar."
HTC
Most people think that the HTC name comes from the original High-Tech Computer, but that's not the case.
1997, when the company was founded by Http. Cho (current chairman) and Cher Wang (current chairman). So they decided to use their initials to form a name - and hence the HTC name was born.

The founders of Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon sat one day trying to think of a name, and when one of the suggestions heard was "Spotify" they liked it. When the twin realized that there were no Google results for the word and that the domains were available, they simply grabbed the opportunity.
Sony
The roots of Sony are a mixture of Latin and English slang. More specifically, this is a version of "Sonus," which sounds like "Sonny," and means a good young man.
However, this was not the original name. It was founded in 1946 under the name Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo KK, or simply Totsuko. The rebranding came in the 1950s, when the company began to have global ambitions, and the signal registered TTK belonged to another company. With the combination of Sonus and Sonny came Sony.
Amazon
Amazon was close to being called Cadabra, from "abracatabra" because Bezos wanted a bookstore to be so fast that it would look like magic.
Indeed, in 1994, Jeff Bezos started the website with the "magic" name but in 1995 he changed it to Amazon. It took its name from the Amazon. Clearly, Jeff Bezos had big ambitions from the beginning.

Lenovo
