Privacy may seem like a myth today in its fast-paced world technologys. The program περιήγησης Brave είναι γνωστό ότι προσπαθεί να κάνει αυτό τον μύθο πραγματικότητα. Η εταιρεία όμως προχώρησε ένα βήμα παραπέρα στη διασφάλιση του απορρήτου των χρηστών δημιουργώντας μια εσωτερική μηχανή αναζήτησης (Brave Search), την οποία χρησιμοποιεί σαν default search engine in her browser.
Ο Brave browser is known for blocking Trackers and third-party ads by default. So Brave Search was created with the same logic, with user privacy as its focus.
Η Brave search according to the company it is a powerful search engine that puts your privacy first priority. It does not track search queries and provides complete transparency. Brave's company won't be able to sell your search data because they don't collect it. The Brave Search engine uses an independent index meaning it does not rely on Google or Bing results.
Brave Search was released as a public beta and to date receives about 80 million search queries per month.
Brave Search will now replace Google in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. DuckDuckGo and Qwant will also be replaced by Brave Search in Germany and France, respectively. Other geographical areas will follow soon.
User privacy is paramount and Brave Search seems to be making it a reality. Although the Brave Search engine may not yet be able to compete with Google and Bing, things may change along the way as global demand for more privacy grows.
