Mr Brendan Eich, co-founder of Mozilla, developed and just released his first edition browser Brave. The new browser focuses on removing what they see as more invasive ads.
According to the manufacturer, the new application will not only focus on your personal privacy but also speed it up tour you too.
Brave will not serve ads that use your browsing history to target them advertisers. This doesn't mean you won't see any ads at all since it will only show some harmless ones (at the developer's discretion) to help both visitors and publishers, in theory at least.
"The Brave browser blocks everything: the initials and analytics scripts that launch programmatic advertising, pixel tracking pixels, and confirmation ad-clicks," Eich says.
Although it is still very early, you can try the new browser by downloading the files installations from Github. Don't expect any surprises, you can simply test him before the official beta version.
Brave currently does not have necessary browser features such as: prepricesettings, manage bookmarks, history or the downloads folder. Obviously we'll see more in the coming weeks.
If you still insist, from GitHub you can download the version for computers, iOS ή Android.
If you still want to wait for a more stable version, you can sign up for Brave and you will be notified when the beta version is ready.
