Mr Brendan Eich, co-founder of Mozilla, developed and just released his first edition browser Brave. The new browser focuses on removing what they see as more invasive ads.
According to the manufacturer the new application it will not only focus on your personal privacy but also speed up your browsing a lot.
Brave will not serve ads that use your browsing history to target them advertisers. This doesn't mean you won't see any ads at all as it will only show some harmless ones (at the developer's discretion) to help both visitors and publishers, in theory at least.
“Vrave browser blocks everything: initialization and analytics scripts that initiate programmatic advertising, tracking pixels, and confirmation ad-clicks,” says Eich.
Although it is still too early, you can try the new browser by downloading the installation files from Github. Do not expect surprises, you can just try it before the official beta release.
Brave currently does not have browser features, such as: preferences, bookmark management, history, or download folder. Obviously we will see more things in the coming weeks.
If you still insist, from GitHub you can download the version for computers, iOS ή Android.
If you still want to wait for a more stable version, you can sign up for Brave and you will be notified when the beta version is ready.
