Johnny Hughes has announced his availability CentOS 7.9.2009. This is the version of the old branch of the distribution created from its source code Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9:

It is the current version for CentOS Linux 7 and is marked as 2009, derived from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9 source code. This release replaces all previously released content for CentOS Linux 7, so we encourage all users to upgrade their machines.
Παλαιότερο περιεχόμενο, ξεπερασμένο από νεότερες εκδόσεις των ίδιων εφαρμογών, αφαιρέθηκαν από αποθετήρια Extras/ και More/. Ωστόσο, αυτή τη φορά το περιεχόμενο αφαιρέθηκε και από το SIG που φιλοξενείται στο mirror.centos.org και σε κάποια παλαιότερα End of Life content.
