Google released some features optimizationς που έχουν σχεδιαστεί για να βελτιώσουν τη διάρκεια ζωής της μπαταρίας και τη χρήση της μνήμης σε μηχανήματα που τρέχουν την πιο πρόσφατη desktop version of the Chrome browser.
Chrome's new Power Saver and Memory Saver features were first announced in December last year along with the release of Chrome 108 but now, the two helpful programs optimization tools are starting to roll out globally on desktop with Chrome 110 for Mac, Windows and Chromebook.
Memory Saver mode essentially blocks Chrome tabs that aren't currently in use to free up RAM for more intensive tasks and create a smoother browsing experience.
But don't worry if you're one of those who run browsers with 100+ tabs open, as those inactive tabs will still be visible and can be reloaded at any time to pick up where you left off.
The websites you use most often can also be flagged by Memory Saver to ensure they always run at peak performance.
