Even so, the Google claims that its solution is cheaper than similar ones productthose already on the market. At the same time, he adds, it is much more flexible and easy to use, allowing up to 15 people to communicate simultaneously, with HD audio and video.
Including all the accessories except the screens, its "heart" «Chromebox for meetings» is the new Asus Chromebox, a mini computer that runs the Chrome OS operating system of the Internet giant. The system is complemented by a Logitech camera, speakers and a remote control incorporating a keyboard.
From the software point of view, video conferencing is done through an upgraded version of it modeς Google+ Hangouts, which through the social network allows for parallel communication of up to 10 individuals. Of course, the system supports many more Google services, such as Google Calendar and Gmail. Also, via Gmail, you can join a video conference from your PC, smartphone or tablet.
Google has revealed that other versions of the system will be released in the coming months, with Chromebox mini-computers manufactured by HP and Dell.
