The hacktivist group NullCrew has targeted another major telecommunications company, the Comcast. The group claims to have breached the company's systems after exploiting one vulnerabilitys local file inclusion (LFI) of the mail server.
“Γεια σας άνθρωποι του διαδικτύου, για άλλη μια φορά. Εμείς εδώ στη NullCrew έχουμε κάποιες διασκεδαστικές πληροφορίες για σας. Αυτή τη φορά, ο στόχος μας είναι η Comcast, ένας ακόμη φορέας supply internet services that claim to be secure? We have to test their claims," they said hackers.
Hackers claim to have a list of Comcast mail servers running Zimbra, an e-mail server. On these servers the NullCrew team was able to identify vulnerabilities in LFI.
By exploiting the LFI vulnerability, which can generally be exploited to provide information and implementation arbitrary code, hackers appear to have gained access to usernames, passwords and other information.
Comcast has not confirmed the attack.
