The latest data from NASA and ESA show that the ISON comet, which has been traveling to the sun over the last few days, is no longer there.
The destruction of ISON was expected: h report of very high temperatures as it approached the sun appears to have obliterated the bright comet. The latest photos from Solar and Heliospheric Observatory of the European Space Agency (SOHO) show the comet's path (its tail is visible) - but not the comet.
