Creative thinking: an artistic approach to the universe

Graduates of science, technology, engineering and mathematics are increasingly urged to develop their creativity so they are genuinely innovative.

The curriculum at Abaarso School combines elements from the Somalia and American educational system. It is designed in such a way that 224 students acquire the necessary skills for their region as well as for the rest of the world. The basic lessons taught are mathematics, English and logical thinking. Teaching is complemented by Arabic and Islamic studies.

This year for the first time a school student was admitted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In France a group of young researchers joined forces and their knowledge in mathematics, biology and other cognitive . A few months ago they decided to participate in a world science championship, organized by the famous MIT University in Boston.

Bringing the magic of the stars and planets to it's not an easy case. When it is combined with music and art the result can be amazing.

This is the view of the passionate astronomer and scientific visionary José Francisco Salgado at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago.

One of his creations is KV 265, a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire appreciation and understanding of through art.

Through continued artistic partnerships, KV 265 presents science projects linking different things such as astronomy, photography, music and dance.

In just 3 years, Salgado has organized 90 presentations in 14 countries and 5 continents, including Antarctica. They approached science and art in the presence of 150.000 viewers.
