A conference for the safe navigation on Internet, for the students of the National School of Judicial Officers, at the Court of First Instance of Thessaloniki
The Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate of the Greek Police organized today (13-6-2014), at the premises of the Thessaloniki Court of First Instance, a workshop in the framework of a study visit by 19 studentsth series of the National School of Judicial Officers.
The day was attended by the Head of the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, Brigadier General Emmanuel Sfakianakis, as well as other specialized officers of the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, who informed the students of the School both about the Legislation in thenetwork, as well as about safe Internet browsing and the risks inherent in it, along with online research practices.

The goal of the conference was the knowledge of the Internet Legislation by the new judges and prosecutors, but also the actions of the Prosecution of Electronic Crime on themethose that arise during the investigation of cases.
In addition, the activity of the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office, which includes the prevention, investigation and repression of crimes and anti-social behaviors committed through the Internet or other electronic means of communication, has been presented.
