AlphaBay, was an online market that illegally sold Dark Web products. The page appears to be offline after arrests took place in three countries.
The attacks took place in the US, Canada and Thailand on July 5, and on the same day AlphaBay's website on Dark Web was mysterious.
The authorities refused to comment on the matter, but the Wall Street Journal claims that an internal source has confirmed that AlphaBay was closed after law enforcement intervened.
Two police raids seem to have taken place in residences in Trois-Rivières, Canada, and another raid on a business address in Montreal. No arrests were made, but equipment was seized.
The latest police raid took place in Thailand, where a Canadian national named Alexander Cazes was reportedly arrested. The 26-year-old was arrested at their private residences in Bangkok. The police confiscated three houses and four cars Lamborghini, worth about 400 million baht, which is 11,8 million dollars.
Local authorities arrested Cazes after an international arrest warrant was issued in the US formovement narcotics.

Meanwhile, former AlphaBay sellers and users began flocking to others markets of the Dark Web. According to DeepDotWeb, a site that monitors the Dark Web, the three most popular Dark Web markets after AlphaBay was shut down are: RAMP (Russian), Dream Market, and Hansa Market.
