Bitcoin Exchange Company (Bitstamp) stopped its DDoS attack services

Bitcoin continues to take one hit after another. The service repς Bitcoin, announced the suspension of its services as it was experiencing denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.

According to Bitstamp's security team, the DDoS attack caused some "misunderstandings in bitcoin wallet applications." An update software that should address these misconceptions is being prepared.

The Bitcoins exchange service says its services will be back "soon".

Greek Andreas Antonopoulos, Blockchain CSO, told TribLIVE that they received an "annoying attack" that slowed down Bitstamp's accounting system and transactions.
