EarthCam offers services webcam and using a robotic camera GigapixelCam X80, made a panoramic photo of New York with the highest resolution so far: 120.000 megapixels.
The X80 camera is the latest product of the company and its price is (only!!) $24,995. Of course there is also the lighter version, without the robotic features that starts at $1.900.
The photo offered by the company, advertising her services, was taken from the Empire State Building. It took over a day's worth of shots, more to pull off points with the right lighting, so that it is as clean as possible.
