Dell EMC has announced the availability of ProDeploy Client Suite, providing customers with the ability to install PCs faster, with less effort and better control. With three different levels of service, training and certification, customers have the flexibility to choose the service that meets their own needs.
DDC research shows that organizations that partner with desktop system vendors can achieve significant cost savings, faster system deployment, and better work experience.
Thanks to ProDeploy Client Suite, customers can trust Dell EMC specialists and partners to take over all the details of the installation, from the design, configuration and installation of their computers to data transfer, and the transmission of knowledge. Service customers work with a Dell EMC specialist who assumes the role of a dedicated contact point for managing the installation, and also access TechDirect, a self-service portal for configuration updates and status reports whenever it is desirable.
Responding to every need, from the simplest to the most complex, it is covered by the Pro Deploy Client Suite, which offers individual service options on three levels to better respond to different typical installation scenarios, depending on customer needs.
"Our differentiated services are a great reason our customers prefer to buy from Dell. ProDeploy Client Suite gives IT managers the flexibility to outsource time-consuming installation projects that employ their staff and divert them from more important initiatives, "said Jeff Clarke, vice president of Operations and President, Customer Solutions Group. "So now they can now focus on improving user experience and increasing productivity by delivering fully-fledged systems to their employees."
ProDeploy Client Suite:
Basic Deployment: The systems are ready for installation and reach the loaded image of the software (disk image), the desired BIOS configuration and asset tag.
ProDeploy: along with the features of the base installation, an installer develops an installation plan that covers all aspects of the installation and configuration of hardware and system software, XNUM-based on-site facility for on-site deployment and knowledge transfer after installation. Customers can also use the ImageAssist tool to quickly create, install and maintain a dynamic disk image (Dynamic Disk Image) common to all desktop and mobile platforms. In third-party testing, ImageAssist took up to 24% less time management than the non-automated image creation.
ProDeploy Plus: The most expanded level of service addresses every aspect of the project needed to deliver the new PCs from the factory to the office, ready to operate immediately. Together with ProDeploy features, ProDeploy Plus customers have Dell Connected Configuration, which allows them to create a distribution point for their own Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager directly at the factory to configure BIOS security, disk image, and domain, which reduces the required installation actions. They also have the ability to transfer data and securely delete them from old systems, training units that they can use at any time to attend training seminars, and 30 day after-install support, as well as a dedicated ProSupport Technical Account Manager.4 ProDeploy Plus can help reduce the time needed to install PCs by 35% 1 and save up to $ 620 per PC installed.
"Dell EMC is committed to providing world-class services that give customers choice, flexibility and scalability," comments Doug Schmitt, President, Dell EMC Services. “The ProDeploy Client Suite service continues our tradition of continuous innovation, offering customers new solutions that can help them make the most of technology Dell they own.
