Dell became the first major PC manufacturer computers, which supports the wireless standard chargingof A4WP (Alliance for Wireless Power), better known as Rezence.
The alliance has created a wireless standard loading συσκευών το οποίο χρησιμοποιεί την technology αντήχησης κοντινών πεδίων μαγνητικής ακτινοβολίας, το οποίο έχει ονομάσει Rezence. Το πρότυπο Rezence είναι σε θέση να φορτίζει πολλαπλές Appliances at the same time without having to place the device in a dock.
Along with Dell's announcement, A4WP has also announced a new high-power specification that will allow 20 devices to be charged at 50 watts by "shooting" devices such as ultrabooks and laptops.
As the A4WP representative at Engadget said, the ideal prospect would be that a laptop that charges via the Rezence model can also be used to charge other smaller devices like a smartphone simply by placing it on laptop.
However, such products are not yet on the market and what is set is to present the first notebook models that can use the Rezence wireless charging model within the year.
On A4WP today support over 80 companies, including Broadcom, Intel, Qualcomm, Samsung, SEMCO, Fujitsu, Haier, HTC, LG, Panasonic and SanDisk. The Rezence model will be featured during the Mobile World Congress, to be held during February 24-27 in Barcelona.
