The virtual and mixed reality ptoject will launch this summer and will offer everyone the opportunity to discover and explore the Red Planet, using HoloLens of Microsoft at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The experience was created using mapping data and images from NASA's Curiosity rover, which has been "flying" on Mars since 2012.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to explore the various areas that NASA has studied on Mars, with an organized VR tour led by a hologram of its astronaut Apollo 11, Buzz Aldrin, who was one of the first people to walk on the surface of the moon.
Destination: Mars can come true from a Microsoft tool called onsight that NASA uses to direct the Curiosity rover to the planet from Earth.
