Have you ever dreamed of being an astronaut in a εξερεύνηση on Mars? In all probability it is not going to be your dream is not going to come true, but a collaboration of NASA with the Microsoft comes to set things right: Destination: Mars
The virtual and mixed reality ptoject will begin this summer and will offer everyone the opportunity to discover and explore the Red Planet using Microsoft's HoloLens at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The experience was created using mapping data and images from NASA's Curiosity rover, which has been "flying" on Mars since 2012.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to explore the various areas studied by NASA on Mars, with an organized VR tour made by a hologram of the Apollo 11 astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, who was one of the first people to walked on the surface of the moon.
Destination: Mars can come true from a Microsoft tool called onsight that NASA uses to direct the Curiosity rover to the planet from Earth.
The software it allows NASA researchers to determine the areas on Mars they want to drive the rover to, and it highlights geological formations on the surface.
