Devolo, introduces dLAN 550 WiFi to a new Powerline wireless range adapter based on range + technology. DLAN® 550 WiFi has been developed to deliver greater performance through a new compact design.
The dLAN adapter achieves bandwidth up to 300 Mbps via WiFi and 500 Mbps via Powerline. In addition, it has an Ethernet connection for simultaneous connection wired devices.

The new dLAN 550 WiFi is a particularly compact adapter which can be placed anywhere in the house. Thanks to the two antennas it has, it offers a wireless connection with a bandwidth of up to 300 Mbps. Connected directly to the power line it achieves even greater performance, reaching 500 Mbps and 400 meters of cable distance. Fast downloads and streaming services just got really fun.
Wireless data transfer is via WPA while data transfer via power lines is secured with 128-bit AES encryption to provide protection against unauthorized access.
WiFi in every room and easy installation

The second adapter is placed in the socket of the space where we want access to the grid. Automatically and without time-consuming and technically difficult procedures the network is created. Easily and quickly with just a few movements, installing additional adapters (up to 8) is also done. DLAN 550 WiFi automatically creates a WiFi Hotspot where the user needs it.
Even more bandwidth and range thanks to devolo range + technology
The high data rates and transmission stability of dLAN 550 WiFi is due, inter alia, to range + technology, which only integrates with devolo adapters. This technology uses, in addition to phase and neutral, grounding for data transfer, thus ensuring a significant improvement in communication. The range + applies a special coupling method to the ground and thus superior to conventional market adjusters, both in coverage and stability as well as in bandwidth.
A wireless network all over the house: devolo WiFi Move and Clone
No one would want to have two or more wireless networks at home, with separate IDs and passwords. For this reason, devolo developed the innovative WiFi Clone and WiFi Move technology.
The WiFi Clone as a function, receives at the push of a button but also WPS security, all wireless data from the user's router so that the terminal devices are automatically connected to the wireless devolo hotspot.
When additional adapters are added to cover other areas within a home, WiFi Move technology kicks in, connecting each new adapter automatically to the existing wireless network, creating a larger home wireless network. In addition, note that it undertakes to create all the optimal settings, such as child safety, time switches or similar functions στους προσαρμογείς.
