Did you know that you can create your own personal avatar on Facebook? This feature has been available in other parts of the world for several months. Here's how to do it.
The personal avatar offered by Facebook is a sketch of the face and body of its users and an alternative to real photos. It is essentially a cartoon version of yourself that you can use.
How to make your Facebook avatar
- Open the Facebook app on Android or iOS.
- Tap on the three horizontal lines in the corner of the screen.
- Do it scroll down and do click in "See more".
- Click "Avatar" (if you can not see it, you do not have access yet).
- Click "Next" and then "Start".
- Create your image by clicking on each section in order.
- You can click on any section at any time.
- When you are satisfied with your selections, click the check mark on the top right.
- Click "Next" and then "Finish".
- Click the arrow symbol on the top right to turn off Facebook Avatar.
You can use your Facebook Avatar as your profile picture, share it with your friends, or use it when you comment on other people's posts. To do this, tap the smiley face next to it icon GIF and then the avatar icon. You can then choose an avatar sticker.
You can modify your Facebook Avatar at any time by clicking on the “Avatar” section in the menu. This time, Facebook will load your existing avatar, so just click on the pencil icon to edit your avatar. You can also delete your image by clicking on the trash can icon.
