The ability to measure the direct distance between two points now provides to Google Maps Google.
Now the user has the ability to click anywhere by selecting the ex pointmovements (for example, a city) and the destination point.
In particular, in the new (New Google Maps) the user right-clicks on the starting point, taps "measure distance" and then clicks on the destination, resulting in a "ruler" showing the distance. Additional clicks on other destinations result in the insertion of new routes, the length of which is indicated. The total distance of the composed route is also displayed. Right clicking and selecting "clear measurement" results in clearing the existing routes.
In the "classic" Google Maps, it is first necessary to activate the distance measurement through Maps Labs.
