The ability to measure the direct distance between two points now provides Google Maps Google.
Now, the user has the ability to click anywhere, selecting the starting point (for example, a city) and the destination point.
In particular, in the new Google Maps, the user right-clicks the start point, clicks "distance distance" and then clicks on the destination, resulting in the display of a "ruler" indicating the distance. Extra clicks on other destinations will result in the introduction of new routes, the length of which is indicated. Also, the total distance traveled is displayed. Right-clicking and selecting "Clearance Measurement" will delete existing routes.
In the "classic" Google Maps, it is first necessary to activate the distance measurement through Maps Labs.
