The Disney + digital channel comes to your screens on 12 November and is expected to cost 6,99 dollars per month.
The company Walt Disney co. revealed yesterday the launch date of the new digital TV platform (just like Netfix) under the name Disney +, will start on November 12 and it is expected that the monthly subscription will reach 6,99 dollars.
Η service will offer to fans of all ages entertainment shows with material from well-known companies of the genre, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, and will be available on connected TVs and mobile devices.
WaltDisney, at yesterday's event at Californian Burbank, also reportedly estimates that Disney + will lose up to $ 1 billion in 2020, and will be running at a loss from 2020 to 2022, before the expected profitability of 2024. And apparently, the company is willing to lose all this money by launching a war with Netflix (and with all other competitors) until it is established with a good number of subscribers.
Netflix has a world of more than 139 million customers worldwide, but spends billions every year to produce original content, so price increases are reasonably expected.
