Donald Trump is launching a new social networking platform and because he is a "genius" he is rich and a former US president, I guess we should follow him.
Trump's new vanity project is called "TRUTHSocial", And is set to launch in November in the US, and for everyone in early 2022. It is the first project of the newly formed Trump Media & Technology Group.
Judging by the images on its Apple App Store page , it appears that TRUTH Social is a variation of Trump's first online love: Twitter.
"I'm excited to post my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon," Trump said in a funny press release, unilaterally promoting himself as "your favorite American president."
"TMTG was founded with a mission to give voice to everyone. I'm excited to soon be sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and fighting Big Tech. "
Apparently only Apple users will be able to access the Trump app. TRUTH Social is currently only available in the Apple App Store, with no indication of whether or when it will be released for Android, which makes sense since Trump is currently trying to sue Google.
Trump is currently trying to sue Twitter, Facebook, and Google for alleged violations of his First Amendment rights. These are lawsuits that demonstrate a striking misunderstanding of the law.
