DuckDuckGo is a search engine like Google. It's been around since 2008 and sets itself apart from search giant Google in a number of different ways. After Snowden's revelations about American and British spying, alternative solutions like DuckDuckGo are considered essential. DuckDuckGo is an Open Source service. The open one s allows control by all developers who wish to engage in its development. This means Safety. Search Anonymously and get your results Instantly.

According to developers, the new version of DuckDuckGo aims to provide users with better answers to their searches, along with a "more sophisticated look."

The new DuckDuckGo is still available as a beta until all bugs that will be presented to the search engine are determined.

Among the most important new features mentioned by the team of developers of the service, it is worth highlighting is that it supports images, and automatically suggests websites. Of course, this is not at the expense of the privacy of the users of the service.

However, given the fact that the changes are still in beta, DuckDuckGo has some glitches which are expected to be fixed in future releases. . Here is a short list of glitches as reported by developers:

- not all settings work yet and the page setting itself is getting an overhaul;
- not all answers work yet and some have not yet been redesigned?
- IE8 is functional though not fully cleaned up yet.
