A computer in the form of a handset was developed by Japanese researchers from University of Hiroshima.
The Earclip-type Wearable PC as it is called, weighs only 17g, has built-in GPS, gyroscope, motion sensors, speaker and microphone. With the help of infrared sensors, the "wearable" computer monitors any small changes that take place inside the ear due to movement and "reads" the eyes and mouth of the user.
According to the scientists, the ear computer is "endowed" with technology Bluetooth and is capable of storing specific commands based on the movements e.g. of its owner's eyes or tongue. The user will be able to easily and quickly, by slightly grinding their teeth, opening and closing their eyes or simply sticking out their tongue, open or operate, for example, a program or an application on their mobile phone that will communicate with the Earclip- type Wearable PC.
Handset hi-tech
Designer of the innovative handset is the engineer Kazuhiro Taniguchi, who was inspired, according to his words, by the simplicity of Japanese art of bouquets, I thought.
