Microsoft released Edge for Windows, as we mentioned earlier today. The company said it wants to make Windows 10 users feel familiar despite launching a new proletterof browsing.
So some features were carried over from the original version of Edge to the new app based on it Chromium.
Support for Google Chrome extensions is a key feature of the new browser. In addition, Microsoft has created its own store for Edge extensions, where users can find trusted add-ons.
Microsoft will continue to update all Edge development channels. Canary build will receive updates every day, Dev version every bdteam, while Beta builds will feature a new version every six weeks.
