The upcoming SXSW Interactive Festival it should be very interesting and that's because Edward Snowden will talk to the event on Monday 10 March 2014.
Of course, since the event will take place in Austin, Texas, Snowden will not be present for obvious reasons, but will attend the event and talk through a teleconference.
Snowden will discuss the implications of the NSA's spying activities with Christopher Soghoian, of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). It will focus on the impact of NSA surveillance programs on the technology community and the possible technological measures that could be used to protect the world from mass espionage.
The Director of Privacy & Technology ACLU Project Mr. Ben Wizner and Snowden's legal counsel will moderate the session. It is worth noting that members of the audience will be able to ask questions.
Μετά την εκδήλωση, η ομιλία θα διατίθεται μέσω της by clicking hereof the ACLU.
