The move took place in less than an hour, in response to a challenge from a Twitter user.
Musk's move follows Mozilla's announcement on Wednesday and reports stopping Facebook ads.
Of course, as you already know, these are reactions after the revelations about the scandal Cambridge Analytica.
But even though the Mozilla Foundation and Elon Musk seem to have taken drastic anti-Facebook measures, too many Companies they do not delete their Facebook pages and do not stop advertising through the largest social network.
The movement #deletefacebook
Let us recall that last Friday, after the unexpected revelations by the media, Facebook deleted SCL Group and the company Cambridge Analytica from its platform.
Later it was learned that companies used Facebook data to create 50 psychological profiles of millions of social network users from 2015.
After the revelations, even her co-founder WhatsApp, Brian Acton, invited those who follow him to delete their Facebook accounts.
In response to the scandal, CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted that trust between Facebook and users has been lost and that the company is preparing a series of changes to the application platform that will stop accessing the data collection from third parties.
But don't expect miracles: Facebook, like the Google relies on data collection. So it would be good not to expect too much after Zuckerberg's promises.
They can stop “uncontrolled” data leaks to third parties, but what about the data they collect themselves?
