Science for all Experiments for children with simple materials

Mathesis: The course Science for all: A series of experiments for children with simple materials is a journey of exploration in the wonderful world of physics, starting from everyday life and the wonderful surprises that it hides for the one who experiments with the laws of Nature!

What does it contain? that we breathe, why oxygen is necessary for combustion, what is siphon, how does it come on our tap, what is the cartesian diver, how the rainbow is created, why the sky is blue and turns purple at sunset, how the optical works us, what is a camera obscura, why is a short circuit dangerous, what materials are good and bad conductors of electricity and why it is important to know them, what is lightning and how does our home alarm system work?

These and many other questions that concern us from an early age can be answered in a simple way, playing in our kitchen, but also in the classroom! Physics is for everyone and it is enjoyable!

Our goal is at the end of the course for the traveling students to have understood through simple experiments basic principles of Physics. Following in detail the steps of performing the experiments, we discover the laws of nature and begin a journey of exploration in the magical world of science.

In this world we want everyone to travel, , parents with their children but also grandmothers with their grandchildren, teachers and physics professors who wish to make their lesson more interesting, but also those who love physics and would like to be introduced to the magical world of science.

The materials that we will use in the experiments exist in every house or can be found easily and at a low cost and the main topics that we will study are: Experiments with Air, Experiments with Water, Experiments with Light and Experiments with Electricity.

The last week of the course is reserved for a series of surprise experiments with the award-winning Canadian Association of Physicists for Teaching in Secondary Education and Head of Educational Programs in Greece at the Perimeter Institute, Ms. Olga Michalopoulos

Although the press releases will be from very select to rarely, I said to go ... because sometimes the authors are hiding.
