20 European Mobility Management Conference: "Think Green, Move Cleverly" (Think Green, Travel Smart), but also "Think smart, Move green" (Think Smart, Travel Green) is the double message of 20th European Conference Mobility Management (ECOMM 2016) to be held in Athens at 1, 2 and 3 June 2016, in Technopolis (Gazi), under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens.Mobility Management

The conference is organized by the Transport Engineering Laboratory of the Civil Engineering Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Transport Systems Laboratory of the University of Piraeus together with the European Platform EPOMM Platform on Mobility Management).

The central theme is: "Smart Solutions for them and the cities" (Smart Solutions for People and Cities) and it concerns all those , traditional and innovative, that make the daily life of citizens easier and cities more functionally efficient.

400 participants from 20 countries are expected to take part in the conference and more than 120 works will be carried out, covering a wide range of topics related to Mobility Management. Also, there will be distinguished world-class speakers, executives of reputable Organizations, institutional and political actors such as: Deputy Mayor of Vienna Ms. Maria Vassilakou, the Director of Innovation of the San Francisco Metropolitan Authority K. Timothy Papandreou, its strain International Transport Forum K. Philippe Christchurch and many others. The Mayor of Athens will welcome the conference Mr. G. Kaminis and the General Secretary Transport Mr. Perca.

The conference is held this year for the first time in Greece and has an anniversary character due to the completion of its 20 years of organization.

Mobility Management ranks as one of the most basic in the field of transport by transport policy makers, Public Transport Authorities, proponents of non-motorized transport, designers and developers of high technologies and innovative solutions as well as marketing companies.

It will be hosted on the conference premises with demonstration of innovative applications and presentation of bodies and Organizations.

The organizers of the conference are assisted by the General Secretariat of Transport of YPYMEDI, ATTIKO METRO, SASTH, the CERTH Transport Institute and the Association of Greek Transportation Engineers.
