The European law enforcement agency Europol is reportedly creating a new unit to fight Islamic State (IS or ISIS) extremists online.
The BBC reports that the new unit is now considered necessary as there are growing concerns about the ability of extremists to use thenetwork and social media to attract new prospective members from Muslim communities in Europe.
Europol officials believe that around 5.000 EU citizens to date have been followed by the Islamic State in its wars, Iraq and Syria.
Europol is said to be launching social media partnerships networks to monitor suspicious accounts and identify young people at risk of being recruited by extremists.
The service also states that the new unit will also try to remove the ISIS propaganda accounts.
The new task force will begin its operation next month. Let's see if there will be Results..
