FabSpace 2.0: Πρόσβαση σε ανοικτά δεδομένα (open data) με έμφαση στη δορυφορική πλοήγηση και την παρατήρηση της γης, σε ανοικτό λογισμικό (open software) για την επεξεργασία τους, σε εκπαιδευτικό υλικό (MOOCS) και σε άλλα εργαλεία που επιτρέπουν τη συνεργασία και την ανοικτή ανταλλαγή για την ανάδειξη κοινωνικών προκλήσεων και ιδεών και την αντιμετώπισή τους και επομένως την καινοτομία, επιδιώκει Ευρωπαϊκή κοινοπραξία, με τη συμμετοχή του si-Cluster, με την ανάπτυξη της πλατφόρμας FabSpace 2.0, στο ομώνυμο έργο που συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Πρόγραμμα Horizon 2020 της EE και εκκίνησε το Μάρτιο στην έδρα του συντονιστή, πανεπιστημίου Paul Sabatier, στην Τουλούζη.
FabSpace 2.0 seeks to bring together civil society, industry, the academic and research community and the public sector in a research area with high socio-economic implications.
FabSpace 2.0 aims, among other things, to create 13 Open Innovation Centers (Open Innovation Centres) σε πανεπιστήμια της Ευρώπης, μεταξύ των οποίων και στο Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο σε στενή συνεργασία με τις επιχειρήσεις και τους δημόσιους φορείς. Τα Κέντρα Ανοικτής Καινοτομίας θα παρέχουν δωρεάν services one attitudes to students, researchers and the general public, giving access to a range of materials, tools, machines and data with the aim of creating new innovative applications.
Within the three-year duration of the project, training seminars for students and researchers will also be carried out, 18 hackathons will be organized at local level and 3 at European level to develop new applications that will help to enhance the entrepreneurship of the domestic space industry .
Corallia, the helper of si-Cluster, is responsible for organizing all the competitions (hackathons) that will highlight the best ideas that can be turned into businesses. NTUA is responsible for mode of the Hellenic Center for Open Innovation and the access of students and researchers to the tools and training it will provide, while the Greek company Terra Spatium will contribute to the development of the platform.
