Facebook has placed a new food order option on its apps and desktops website.
Thus, in the areas that have been selected to receive the new feature, the members of the largest social network can click on the hamburger icon from the "Explore" section on your computer or from the application menu on mobile devices.
Interested people will be taken to a page full of nearby restaurants and eating on Facebook.
From the restaurant list, you will be able to either go to each restaurant's Facebook page and order there, or select Start order by directly choosing what you want to order from the store menu. You can also pay directly through the app. Image Techcrunch.com
It should be noted that the new feature does not work for everyone yet. Some may see the message that there are no nearby restaurants for delivery (it does not specify if this means "they do not have delivery at all"). Still others like here in Greece will have to wait for the response of the local shops to the news service of Faceboοk.
This choice is the fruit of a partnership between Facebook and the Delivery.com and Slice websites.
We expect it to be adopted soon by any restaurant that distributes food and is interested in getting on its list.
