Besides the procase of SMS functionality, the Messenger app appears to be continuing its efforts to separate itself from Facebook's main app.
So today it has been re-designed to add a new Home page so you can see which of your friends are online, which ones have a short birthday, and who you are used to chatting with.
Let's look at the additions to the new original appearance of the application.
The redesign was done to get more information to the end user, so you can continue the conversations you have left, or start new ones with people you are often involved in.
So below the navigation bar, you will also see more tabs like calls, contacts, groups, but also your own personal profile.
Previously, when you opened the app, the bar was at the top, and you could see all the latest conversations you had with your friends.
The top line has now been replaced with a search bar that brings Facebook search to Messenger.
