David Marcus, vice president of messaging at Facebook, announced the tests with a publication on social network.
“We already offer a feature that allows our members to send voice clips to their friends without having to type text. Today we are starting tests on a feature that allows our members to read the voice clips they receive instead of listening to them, ”Marcus wrote.
He added that tests are done by a few and that the new feature will become widely available if it turns out to be popular.
