New Facebook Notes was released

Facebook Notes

The feature Notes was first released on 22 August 2006 and was originally advertised as a blogging system, although it was never.

As time went on, Facebook began to support tags, and embedded images, as well as the ability to import blog content from sites like LiveJournal, Blogger, Xanga, and a few other platforms.

Nevertheless, Facebook Notes failed miserably, not only to become popular, but also because despite its efforts, it never looked like a blog.

Yesterday Facebook announced that it has improved the Notes even further. The new look allows users to add a huge banner photo to the header, format text with headers, place quotation marks, and more.

Additionally, the process of embedding images has been enhanced with the ability to add a caption as well of its size to better match the content.

Let's say the result, although it does not look like a blog, is far from the appearance of the feature in the past.

The updated Facebook Notes, clearly shows the company's aspirations. Her expansive policy seems to be looking at the glory and clientele of WordPress, but as you will see, you still need a lot of work.

The new feature has not yet appeared in Greece, but if you want to see how it looks like you can do from here.
