The Facebook released a new photo album-like feature. The Facebook Scrapbook is here. The new service will allow parents to better organize their children's photos. Or in other words, get ready to see a lot of baby pictures on News Feed your next days and weeks.
Facebook's Product Manager, Dan Barak, stated that he noticed that most of the children's photos shared by the social network, were added to different photo albums.
Some parents have again created Facebook profiles for infants, despite being against Facebook's policy because the social network does not allow people under 13 to have a profile. So Dan Barak, he thought of a better way to organize such photos. So was born Facebook Scrapbook. Therefore, Album was born.
As mentioned before, the feature allows parents to organize their child photos using a special tag that will pull everything in an adaptable Scrapbook. Parents who create Scrapbooks can co-owners with their partner and choose which tag to use (the child's name, the original or perhaps a pseudonym). Only Scrapbook owners can tag their child in the photos.
From iGuRu.gr, however, we do not agree with the sharing of children's photos on Facebook and generally on the Internet, with everything that's happening. The best internet protection for your data is to be offline. Do not climb that more valuable you have in public view and later regret it if something happens.
