Very good news for friends of Windows Phones waiting to be upgraded to Windows 10 for Phones Technical Preview, while the company confirmed that the next build will be able to upgrade from all Windows Phones running 8.1.
It is known that the Windows 10 for Phones are not compatible with all Lumia smartphones, and some users can not just upgrade to this version unless they use an application to reflash their phones.
The current version of Windows 10 for Phones does not support upgrading to some Appliances with Windows Phone 8.1.
For example, those who have Windows Phone 8.1 running smartphones on build 8.10.14226.359 or 8.10.14234.375 can not upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10 for Phones unless they use a Windows recovery tool to reflash the device to a lower build.
However, from the next build of Windows 10 for Phones someone with a Lumia compatible smartphone, no matter what version of Windows Phone 8.1 runs, will be able to upgrade without having to reflash it on his device.
The information have been recently confirmed by Gabriel Aul Microsoft, who said the next build of Windows 10 for Phones would bring support for more Lumia smartphones, except for Lumia 930.
