A new button on Facebook, allows you to receive notifications whenever your favorite commercial signal /musician/ page, is hosting an event near you so you don't want to miss it.
A new section shown in the table “Events”Allows you to subscribe to pages to receive notifications when there is an event near your site hosted by the page.
Notifications appear similar to what you usually see when a friend calls you to an event.
In accordance with Techcrunch, a new (Subscribe) button will also appear on pages near the Like button that will encourage them users subscribe to such notifications.
The new button is the "call to action" button for pages that the company announced earlier this year. It seems the change is automatic and that users of the social network don't have to do anything to see it.
