Facebook today announced a few changes to how the videos will be handled in your News Feed.
In the past, videos came in categories based on certain actions. For example if a video was live, if you should unmute it, or if you could open it in full view screen.
Today's announcement seems to add another category: "Percent completion."
Completion rate is exactly what it sounds like, the amount of time you watch each video before closing it and continuing your browsing to other data of σελίδαs.
The higher the completion rate, the more the video will appear in the News Feed of others as the content it's probably exciting.
How will your page change affect? We will see it in practice, but according to Facebook most pages will not notice any significant change.
This change can be announced today, but it will not be seen by all users of the social network, as it will begin to move gradually.
The reason for the gradual release of the new modes is that it should be monitored. Once it is found to be working without any unforeseen issues it will be released to all users.
