Following the data breaches suffered by Target, Neiman Marcus and other US retailers, the FBI warns that more of this kind of cyber attacks should be expected.

In accordance with Reuters , the report warns businesses about "memory configuration" malware specifically designed to infect point-of-sale (POS) systems. You will also hear it like RAM scraper after it intervenes in the memory to retrieve data and not to some recording hardware such as hard disks, etc.The fact that this malware is readily available, coupled with the great profit it can give to its owner, has attracted the attention of a wide range of people.
One of the pieces of malware mentioned in the FBI notice has been christened "Alina". This threat includes a feature that allows cybercriminals to upgrade it remotely, making it particularly difficult for security teams.
In the past year, the FBI detected about 20 data breaches that involved malicious software.
