The Mozilla Firefox browser is used by approximately 30% of all Internet users and company has been seriously concerned about user security for many years.
To improve the stability, security and performance of Firefox, Mozilla announced in 2013 that it plans to allow choice «Click to Play» in upcoming versions of Firefox, which will block the most vulnerable plugins like Java by default.
"Plugins are an important source of poor performance, malfunction and vulnerabilities," a Mozilla spokesman said.
The "Click to play" feature prevents automatic implementation of all plugins, although this feature was annoying for some users, so in order not to have a default lock for every plugin, Mozilla announced that it will maintain a list of approved plugins.
Plugin developers can apply to include their application in the list of allowed. The developer has to submit his plugins using a template in Bugzilla and the application is submitted by 31 in March 2014, where he will be reviewed by Mozilla.
