Since June, the foundation Mozilla began to develop a version of it Firefox which will support it Oculus Rift. Today the company announced a new site to showcase them possibilities virtualof reality on the Web.
To celebrate Firefox's 10th anniversary, Mozilla released MozVR, which is sort of like Google's Chrome experiments, to the entire online community. The Mozilla Foundation will share experiences and experimental testing in the "mother VR” that will take the company, the Web, and the Oculus Rift to new heights.
There are a number of initial demos on MozVR and they include a WebGL flyover base British Columbia and data visualization, such as her techniques that integrates Leap Motion with the Oculus Rift.
The Mozilla Foundation also has the MozVR source code to allow developers to develop their own web experiences, of course, with the general availability of Oculus Rift.
