Follow the route:
C: \ Windows \ SoftwareDistribution \Download
You may need to replace C: with the letter of the drive that your system is installed on.
Delete it in the Download folder.
Open Windows Update.
Open the command line. From search type cmd. exe and once the black icon appears right click on it and select “Run as Admin".
Type the following command without pressing enter to run it
wuauclt.exe /updatenow
Return to the Windows Update window now. Click the "Check for Updates" button on the left side.
When you see that it started looking for new updates, return the command prompt window and press enter to run the command.
