Samsung has officially announced its intention to renovate a Galaxy Note 7 smartphones, with their new batteries, which will be sold in certain markets, after discussion with local regulatory agencies and some viability analysis of market.
The refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is said to be released in India and Vietnam, although a local Samsung division has recently denied rumors before the company officially announces the Galaxy Note 7 smartphones recycling and refurbishment program.
Today, images from Vietnam are leaking and show the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 with code number SM-N935. This means the model could be sold in the country, as Samsung is currently gathering its smartphones there.
An interesting one information that the images reveal is about the battery inside the refurbished model. Earlier rumors suggested that the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 would feature a smaller battery than the original model, and the leaked image seems to confirm that.
The refurbished Galaxy Note 7 appears to feature a new 3,200mAh battery, instead of the exploding 3,500mAh battery of the original models.
Obviously, the refurbished devices should have been subjected to a deeper procedure quality assurance, which was necessary for Samsung to ensure that they are safe to use and will not suffer the same fate as the original models.
One of the leaked images also shows that the refurbished device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Please note that the original model was released in the market at the 850 price of the dollar, while the refurbished model will certainly have a much lower price.
