Have you bought the Galaxy Note 7 and want to check if its battery is failing you? Samsung today released an official σελίδα ελέγχου ασφαλείας συσκευών Galaxy Note 7 (υπάρχει στο τέλος της δημοσίευσης).
If you have not heard of it, Samsung has announced an unprecedented recall for the Galaxy Note 7, after a few instances of explosion of the device while charging the battery.
The company was initially accused of not cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, but has now begun the formal recall process in cooperation with the government.
If you have a Galaxy Note 7 device or plan to buy some news, you will obviously have a few questions about your security.
Let's see how you can find out if the device you have or intend to get belongs to the "explosive" series of Samsung.
First way out of the packing box
The easiest way is to check the packaging box of the device. New devices can be identified by a circular sticker that reads a blue "S." There is also a small black box in the lower right corner of the barcode sticker, as a back up ID.
Second way from the phone itself
But let's say you do not have the packing box for some reason. Samsung creates a database where customers can verify using their IMEI / MEID device if their device comes from a secure batch.
Your IMEI is in the barcode in the box, but you can also see it from the device itself in three different ways:
1. From Settings – General management – Status – IMEI information or
2. Type * # 06 # or
3. Find a way to see the attenuated text at the bottom of your device's back.
Then you can check from the database just released by the company:
